Lindsey + Rickey's Station 3 Houston Wedding

It’s not every day that we get to plan a wedding at a Houston Fire Station! Well, okay, to be fair, Station 3 isn’t an active fire station! This is a bit of a throwback for us, but we realized we hadn’t shared it before! Fortunately, it’s still relatively “on trend” for today’s couples that are still loving greenery and color.

Station 3, otherwise known as "Stonewall", was one of Houston's original fire stations.  Built in 1903, its everlasting motto, "Trust in Us" can still be seen etched into the building’s stone today.  Station 3 is one of the city’s historical landmarks, located directly outside of downtown.  The original brick, wood floors, concrete beams, and intricate hand-carved exterior stonework all add to its timeless beauty and charm.

Station 3 underwent a complete restoration project in 2014, bringing many of its amenities into the 21st century.

It’s hard to deny the unique character of this charming venue! It was the perfect fit for Lindsey + Rickey’s early November wedding. These two have a great time together and their intimate wedding was a blast from start to finish. They really kept lighthearted all day and it was a beautiful sight to see- we’re always happy when our couples are happy!

Be sure to check out their wedding photo slideshow too!
