What were some personal touches at your wedding?

I used the same flowers my late Grandmother grew in her garden, the song my mother and father walked into the chapel to was their wedding song, I had my friend play the cello for the ceremony...The whole thing was a personal touch!

What aspect of your wedding did you splurge on?

The Champagne!

If you had to do your wedding day over, what one thing would you do differently?

I would have hired a real dj and maybe gone somewhere less touristy for the honeymoon.

Were there any surprises on your wedding day?

Yes!! There was an intense but very brief sun shower right after the ceremony ended. It was gorgeous. Also, my four year old cousin took the microphone of her own accord to give a wedding speech. She said " I hope for you to live happily ever after." It brought me to tears.

As far as weddings? The Knot. Other things, I love Apartment Therapy and Flickr.

When selecting someone to entrust with your wedding day, why did you choose STC?

Their professionalism, creativity, and friendly staff. Everyone was delightfully pleasant to work with.
