The party is over. You have hundreds of thank-you notes to write. What are you going to write? Letting people know how much you appreciate their attendance at your wedding is imperative. For some, attending your wedding can be an expensive, long process so you want to show your gratitude. Also, what about gifts? Do you mention them? Here are some helpful hints to guide you in writing the perfect thank-you notes!

-Be sure to personalize your notes. Make references to the gift as well as the person.
-Do NOT include photos of your wedding if it will delay sending notes.
-Do NOT use being late as an excuse not to write. Keep sending thank-you notes until you are finished no matter how long it takes!
-Do refer to the use you will make of money gifts. Mentioning the amount is optional.
-Do NOT mention the exchange of gifts.
-Do be enthusiastic, but don’t overdo it. Avoid saying that a gift is the most gorgeous thing you’ve ever seen unless you mean it!
