One of my favorite organizations helps offset your carbon footprint. Terrapass balances the emissions you can't reduce by funding clean energy and efficiency projects such as wind farms. These projects result in verified reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The site now has a wedding calculator that easily determines the amount the emissions produced by your guests’ travel and suggests a donation amount to offset them. They’ll even send you a framed certificate to display at the wedding, making you and your guests feel like you’ve done at least a little something to help make the world a better place.
