Tracy wanted to celebrate her husband, Eric’s 65th birthday with a celebration as big as his personality - after all, those who know him best know that he’s “epic!” She reached out to her friend, Mindy, who has worked with Jessica on everything from NYE parties to intimate weddings, to social celebrations on the lake, and with Mindy’s enforcement, Tracy looked to Jessica for help from start to finish.

They are members of Driftwood Downtown, so hosting the celebration there just felt like home, where everybody already knew his name. Eric loves golf and outdoor activities from mountaintops to deep seas, and he’s a rock enthusiast (he and his friends frequent rock/geology conventions) so it made perfect sense to have a stunning geode cake and edible rocks. He also appreciates the unexpected, so of course we brought in a mirrored dancing man for pictures galore, along with chicken shit bingo, which complemented the craps table for those wanted to place a bet. The roaming magician and caricature artist were hits among the guests, as was the live band who’s one of Eric’s favorites, Del Castillo Band. With all those fun details and activities, Eric’s 65th birthday celebration was truly epic!
