An Anniversary Says...

Charles R. Swindoll: An anniversary says, "Think of the dreams you have weathered together. They are intimate accomplishments."

As my husband and I near our 4 year anniversary, I read this quote and feel like it’s speaking right to me. The choice of words here is interesting – “the dreams you have WEATHERED.” It’s saying that those dreams aren’t always easy to grasp. There WILL be challenges in your marriage, but those make the good times all that much better. And they ARE intimate accomplishments. Every accomplishment is celebrated with your spouse. And that’s an amazing feeling.
