Clair and Jim are both Texans who now live in D.C. so when it came time to pick their wedding location, of course they came back to Texas! The ceremony was at the church near and dear to Clair's heart, and the reception at a facility that was once upon a time a mere open-sided pavilion in a park frequented in Clair's high school days. I LOVED the personal connections at this wedding! Clair was a ballerina for many, many years and Jim... well, Jim wasn't. But Jim loves Clair so much that he was willing to learn a choreographed dance for their First Dance (and Clair loves Jim enough to have patiently taught him every step! ;). That dance may have been my favorite moment. Or my favorite moment could have been when Clair's parents, who have been divorced since she was a tot, surprised her with the performance of a duet that they sang at weddings over 20 years ago.

What a memorable day! Congratulations Clair and Jim! Many more memorable days to come.
